Bradley Poole grew up in Squamish, British Columbia, a small coastal town situated between Vancouver and Whistler. With a fascination, as a young man, to deconstruct or construct anything from cars to instruments, Bradley always had a burning interest in creativity.

Working for his father in a radiator repair shop where he worked for eight years, three of which he operated on his own, was what initially sparked Bradley's interest in the world of metal. The main object of the radiator repair-person is to solder radiators together and repair them with a torch. In his spare time in the shop Bradley would create small objects like bracelets and key chains made from welding rods and nuts and bolts that would be brazed together then filed by hand into an object. Creating these objects was what led Bradley into pursuing an education in the field of jewellery and small objects design. One of the main differences between making jewellery and working on radiators is the scale so it was a comfortable transition to jewellery.

After leaving the Radiator business Bradley pursued a career in professional painting. Not long after leaving the radiator shop he realized he didn't have the means to fulfill his creative needs in metal working.

Four years later Bradley enrolled in The Kootenay School of the Arts in Nelson, British Columbia where he completed a three-year Diploma majoring in Jewellery and Small Object Design. In the time he spent living in Nelson attending school, Bradley also worked in an artistic metal shop for two years building railings and other metal objects and learned some of the skills of welding and installation, adding to his repertoire of metalworking skills.

Bradley is now in his final year, completing his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at the Alberta College of Art + Design in Calgary, Alberta.
